DPS Investigators and Troopers See Increase in Interdiction Activity
Only 14 days into February and Utah Department of Public Safety (DPS) Investigators and Troopers have taken over 110 pounds of methamphetamine, weapons, heroin and prescription pills off the streets of Utah. DPS’ Utah Highway Patrol and State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) have worked together as one team to seize and develop investigations into each interdiction case.
The following have been seized and investigated in February:
· 110 pounds of Methamphetamine
· 2 credit card financial crime cases
· 75 pounds of Marijuana, 2 pounds of hash
· 5 pounds 3 ounces of heroin
· 1 handgun
· 79 grams of prescription pills
